This is what I personally think about media, and how I consume it. All these views are up for a debate

2. Media to me
These days the majority of media outlets are
attempting to push a certain target audience
towards a specific view or belief on something.
They do this in subtle ways, by producing
subliminal message withing their media
product. These days the most common way of
signposting in media is when someone requests
you to do something, or telling you how doing
something can benefit. An example of this is
the ‘ I want you’ poster. This was used during
the first and second world war recruit soldiers
on America. The person pointing on the poster
is known as Uncle Sam or U.S. He is an
American personification of the American
Government. The reason why it was so
persuasive was due to the fact that if an
American ignored the poster they felt as if have
they were letting their country down by turning
down the fact to fight in the War
A barrier is when something is completely blocked of from
something, like in media a certain story or article is
completely avoided. Similar to a filter, however, with a
filter some of the information is shared out to the public.
Many media outlets try put a barrier on certain things, as
they do not want to let certain information to the public.
There are many reasons the media could block out
information, one being that the public could react to this
in a certain manner TBC……

3. Is choice an Illusion

4. Well my opinion on that topic is yes and no. The reason why I
believe it can be is because another word for illusion is persuasion.
Even the most stubborn person in the world can be persuaded or
“Alluded” to the point where they think they have not been
persuaded. Even as children, the way we are brought by our parents
and carers, we are brought a certain way and to have certain
morals.

5. • However within media there multiple way we are alluded to think
a certain from the adverts we watch, to what we read in the news
paper. Everyday there are ways we as the public are always trying
to be alluded

6. What image is being presented
The message that this image portrays is
based on the conspiracy of the illuminati.
The illuminati are a secret organisation,
who are made up of powerful figures
from around the world. The rapper on
screen is Jay Z. Based on files and
conspiracies he is said to be a part of the
illuminati. The symbol that he is doing
with his hands is the illuminati triangle.
By him doing the hand symbol it notifies
others that he is a part of the
organisation. This has negative affect on
the audience as there are rumours and
hidden messages in certain songs that
reveal the Illuminati are planning to take
over the world. However depending on
someone age, gender and personal morals
and values, will affect on how the
audience view this image.

8. When it comes to media I consume a wide vary of things, like radio,
film, cinema, radio, magazines and television, but the majority of
what I consume is mainly internet
