• Participation
– Affirms students’ sustained development in school-based
CCA throughout secondary school
– Student can choose from Sports, Arts, Uniformed Groups,
Clubs and Societies
• Achievement
– Affirms students’ character development and efforts in
representing the school/external organisations in events
– Students diverse interests and talents are recognised as
events can go beyond CCA and beyond school
Key Information on LEAPS 2.0 Domains

Participation Domain in LEAPS 2.0
• At least 75% attendance each year
– Levels 1 - 4:
• Participation in a CCA for 2 to 5 years
– Levels 4 – 5:
• Continuous involvement in the same CCA for 4 or 5 years
– Levels 3 – 5:
• Exemplary conduct and active contribution in CCA with at
least 3 years of participation in any CCA

– Represent class / house / CCA (Intra-school)
Representation/Accomplishment
• Levels 2 – 4:
– Representation school or external organisation in an event

 CCA is compulsory and every student must
participate in one CCA
 CCAs will be conducted on either Mondays and/or
Wednesdays and/or Fridays (depending on the
chosen CCA)
 Most CCAs will have 2 sessions per week
 DO NOT arrange child’s personal enrichment
activities (e.g. tuition) on CCA days

 Every student is given up to 3 choices to try out
 Compulsory try-out for Uniformed Groups (UG) on 9 Jan (Mon)
 Try-out sessions in Week 2 only (9, 11, 13 Jan)
 Mon (UG): 2.30pm-5pm , report at atrium.
 Wed: 3pm-5pm
 Fri: 2.30pm-4.30pm
 Book slots with respective CCA at CCA Booths
 Each CCA max 30 places. First come first serve basis

based on aptitude test
conducted on 06/01/17,
CCA vacancies available
and student’s choice.

Parent’s signature is required on the final print-out
to acknowledge the registration
Students with no computer / printer at home to report
to Computer Lab 2 & 3 (Level 3) on 16 January (Monday)
at 2.15pm
Submit the signed print-out to Class Mentor by
19 Jan 2017, Thursday
NO Appeals will be allowed if the student is allocated
one of his / her choices.
CCA will commence in Term 1, Week 4 onwards
(23 Jan, Monday)
