3. Onepoint has implemented an external third-party software testing service as a part of a project aiming to industrialise the validation processes of 40
computer-aided design applications (nuclear power). The company is engaged in achieving clear and measurable results in terms of quality, costs,
and deadlines. An ongoing success from 2009, having employed up to 12 consultants.
Expert consultants were assigned to the RFF’s (French Rail Network) Integration Division in order to provide technical, methodological and
organisational expertise in industrialisation of performance testing processes, in a broad sense. The domains covered were: load testing, single-
transaction measurement, stress testing, robustness testing, endurance testing, reliability testing, and capacity testing.
Onepoint was tasked with coordinating a 7-people team responsible for the industrialisation of usability testing at Paris, Lille and Bangalore. The
benefits for the client were manifold: industrialisation of software qualification, increase in the number of processed project requests, financial gains
(nearshore / offshore). Special work on data anonymisation was carried out for the France and Luxembourg Units.
Galeries Lafayette has entrusted onepoint with refining, rationalising and standardising software quality processes by the means of a testing
industrialisation approach. To achieve this goal, we have implemented functional testing automation on POS applications (thick client) as well as on
the website galerieslafayette.com (thin client).
