Exchanger (Air cooled, S&T, Plate, Furnace, water cooling tower, chiller, etc.)-; API
650/653 Tank design (FWKO Tank, Wash Tank, Skim Oil Tank, Surge Tank, LACT Tank,
Water Tank, etc.); Gas Dehy. system, Sour Gas treatment, Compressor- API 617, 618,
619, etc, as well as establishing Drivers as Gas/Steam turbine (API 616, API 671, API
613, API 614, API 550, API 670, etc.), Mechanical Induced Gas/Air flotation,
Filtered/Softener Water system; VFD’s electric motor, internal combustion motor, etc.);
etc.
• Capable of executing and integrating the work of various onsite unit designs. Extensive
experience on designing of Utilities and Offsites services such as Ethanol, Diesel, Oil,
Gasoline Loading & Unloading systems (Rail, barge, truck, wharf, ship); Tankage &
Storage: Atmospheric, Pressure, and Refrigerated; Water cooling system; Air Systems:
Instrument and Utility Air; Fuel system- natural or fuel gas, chemical injection package;
Inert gas system H2/N2; Pipe-rack, Fire water system, HVAC, refrigeration system,
Emergency Relief System as pressure safety valves-PSV’s & PVRV’s, Flare system;
Lube Oil systems; Water Systems: BFW, Utility Water, Potable Water, Demineralized
Water, and Condensate; Interconnecting Piping, Waste Water treatment facilities, Power
generation, Steam Plant, etc.
• Skilled developed hydraulic calculations piping and Pipeline and Process Piping facilities
(Multi-phase Gathering Production system, water hammer, slugging, gravity line, casing
vapor line system, hydraulic gradient for Oil Pipeline, Trunk-line, Pump station location,
pressure reducing station location, Gas Pipeline, Gas Compressor station location, etc.).
• Proficient on developing Conceptual & Basic (FEL) and detail (FEED) stages of
engineering design of Interstate Liquid/Gas Pipeline which transports Heavy Oil/
Bitumen/Light Oil/Fuel Petroleum and as well as infrastructure/equipment associated.
• I have also experience Tank inspection/ design/ repair/ alteration report analysis, etc., in
accordance with codes API-650 & API-653, etc. I have working knowledge of Gas/Oil
Pipeline and utilities codes/regulations including 49 CFR Part 192/195 (USA), ASME
B31.8S; B31.4; B31.3, B31.1, API 570.
• Troubleshoot and resolve operational issues as Process & Mechanical Engineer.
• Root Cause analysis & Monitoring filed Performance of existing Fixed/Rotating
Equipment & auxiliaries evaluating parameters such as Vibration, flow rate and properties
the fluid handled, operations conditions, quality of lube oil system, mechanical condition
of Bearing/Seal Mechanical, etc
• Performing and supporting mechanical design activities for turbo machinery equipment
and assemblies from concept through final detailed design.
• Proficient on evaluating, optimizing, designing Water Handling Facilities but not limited to
Oilfield, Refinery, where the target are remove/control pH, BOD5, oil, scum/froth, solids,
metals, NH3-N, Sulfurs; VOC’s, etc.
• Executing projects in a manner that meets the premises for cost, delivery and
function/production/quality. Liaison with Maintenance, Operations and other
stakeholders, both internal and external to.
• Reviews engineering packages and gives technical guidance to assigned engineers.
• Experience Boiler-Tube Failure report Analysis based on API 579/ 570/ 510, etc.

• Bilingual English-Spanish; I am American by naturalization (originally from Venezuela) so
