A little dot went for a walk. He took a step, and another step and another step. He made a line. <ul><li>Can you draw a line? Draw a line anywhere on your paper. </li></ul>

The little dot was happy. He started to skip. He made a dotted line. <ul><li>Can you make a dotted line? Draw a dotted line anywhere on your paper. </li></ul><ul><li>……………………………………………… . </li></ul>

He went right, and then left, and made a Z. He made one, two, three and made a zig zag line. <ul><li>Can you draw a zigzag? </li></ul>

The dot walked under a coconut tree. Poor little dot got bonked on the head. He was dizzy. He could hardly stand. His head was spinning. He made a curved line. <ul><li>Can you draw a curve? </li></ul>

The little line walked some more. He was still dizzy. He made a wavy line. <ul><li>Can you make a wavy line, too? </li></ul>

The little line was getting hungry. It made him feel skinny and light headed, so he made a thin line. <ul><li>Can you make a thin line, too? </li></ul>

He went to a food stand and bought some lunch. He had a hot dog, two orders of fries and a hot fudge sundae. He was feeling fat. He made a heavy line. <ul><li>Can you draw a heavy line, too? </li></ul>

He went home and went to bed. That’s the story of a dot that went for a walk and made all kinds of lines. <ul><li>Now it’s your turn. Look at the lines you drew on your paper. Does it look like anything to you? Add more lines to your paper, and make it look like a picture. Color inside the lines. </li></ul><ul><li>The little dot made a line. What can you make? </li></ul>
