restaurants, shops, and transportation
services extended their welcome as well,
providing samples, coupons, and giveaways
for attendees to collect.
Local merchants donated 27 door prizes that
ranged from tote bags and gift baskets to
restaurant gift certificates, a high-end DVD
player, and a weekend hotel getaway.
A team of docents provided tours of the campus, highlighting its amenities.
Employees visited the Diablo Café, the buffet style restaurant located in
Building B (which also catered the event), Club One, the onsite fitness
facility, and the many other features that made the campus so appealing to
Kaiser Permanente.
