Presentation-Production (PPP) method.
Integration of skills: What skills will be integrated and how?
The four skills will be integrated through the description of images.
Speaking and listening will also be integrated at the end of the class
through a game and during all the lesson through the interaction
3. between the students and with the teacher.
Materials and resources: board, images, cards for the game.
Pedagogical use of ICT in class or at home: as homework, students will
watch a short video at home. The purpose is that they practise what
they have learnt. Next class, they will tell how easy or difficult was the
exercise and how many correct answers they could give.
Seating arrangement: students will be sitting pairs.
· Assessment: what will be assessed and how. I will check that students
understand present continuous and identify vocabulary by using
pictures and questions such as “What are you doing?” and Yes/No
questions.
PROCEDURE
ROUTINE ( 5 min)
Purpose: to start thelesson.
I will get into the classroomand greet my students “Good afternoon
students! How are you today?” they will probably say “fine, fantastic,
wonderful, tired”
Are you ready to start the class?
Yes!

WARM – UP (5 min)
Purpose: to get students intothe moodof work and establish rapport.
I will show students two images and encourage them to answer two
questions.
4. Ok children, tell me , in your opinion…Who are they? Mostof them love
participating so answers will come immediately. Probableanswers would
be: picture 1) friends, classmates . Picture 2: family (encouraging them to
mention the members)
Then, I will ask Where are they? This time I will try to encouragethose
students who talk less to give their opinion. Probable answers: 1- ata
camp, in the forest. 2: at home, house , in the living room

They will tell many actions. They already know all the vocabulary
referringto these pictures. Asmany studentsstill have difficulties
saying correct sentences in present continuous, they will probably say
the actions omitting ING or the verb TO BE. But in this first part, I will
guidethem and focuson vocabulary.
I will stick both images on the board and next to each oneI will write
all the options (as a spidergram)they mention and those oneswhich
they don´t say or don´t remember I will guidethem to do so.
