Since its inception, the program has impacted about 2,000 students and today it is offered in more than a dozen middle and high schools in the City of Atlanta and Cobb, DeKalband Gwinnett counties. YEGeorgia's efforts have attracted national attention and recognition, including a 2016 True Inspiration Award from the Chick-fil-A Foundation, for its commitment to developing business knowledge, entrepreneurial skills and financial literacy in young people. "What began as an educational experiment in the heart of Atlanta has successfully impacted hundreds of students and teachers over the past 10 years," says Scott Brown, YEGeorgia's executive director. "We are now primed for our next level of successas we expand into more classrooms acrossGeorgia, with a goal of reaching 1,000 new students a year by 2020. With the support from our Chairman's Circle and other generous donors, I know we can do it and young people's lives and futures will be the better for it." ###
