We categorise all our delegates at the events for statistical purposes and service planning. This document is meant to educate our stakeholders about these categories and prepare them for the online registration for our events.

1. MEMBER: - a member refers to a fully paid up member of COMETSA Friends & Supporters Club NPO. Such a member is
expected to be able to produce membership number and/or card at the registration of the events they are attending.
2. NON-MEMBER: - a non-member is any member of the public who has not taken up and fully paid membership fee with
COMETSA Friends & Supporters Club NPO, or any member whose membership is not up to date about payment of fees. If
a non-member is not accompanying a member to the event as an invited guest s/he will be liable to pay a non-member fee
for that even.
3. PRO-BONO MEMBER: - the Pro-Bono Members are volunteer Directors and Board Members of COMETSA Development
Agencies, including COMETSA Friends & Supporters Club NPO, and staff members of COMETSA companies and
organizations.
4. FACILITATOR: - like the guest speakers, facilitators at our events are very critical and highly valued by our members. They
may not necessarily be members of COMETSA Friends & Supporters Club NPO. We either pay them for facilitating our
events or allow them to attend the events for free. This category is created to help us in tracking the facilitators used for our
various events. They are added to our database.
5. GUEST SPEAKER: - we regularly invite subject matter experts to deliver talks at our events. When that happens such
guest, speakers can attend the events without paying attendance fees. This is irrespective of whether they are being paid to
speak or not. They are critical to the success of our events. The guest speakers are our important resources for future
events and are therefore requested to register for the events on our portal. They are added to our database.
6. SERVICE PROVIDER: - the external service providers are brought in to deliver services at our events. It is a common
practice not to make them pay for the events as they add value to the events. We still require them to register on our portal
and be added to our database. This category helps us in tracking the service providers hired to support our events.
7. DONOR/FUNDER: - it is our desire to have as many donors and funder as possible. Unlike sponsors, donors and funders
are our family members. They donate to our courses and fund our activities, programmes, and projects because they believe
in the work we do. They will never be made to pay for attending any of our events. They are as good as part of us.

8. SPONSOR REPRESENTATIVE: - we would love to have many of our events sponsored. As a non-profit organization with
such low and affordable membership fees, we can only succeed if we are able to attract many sponsors to our events. Of
course, we must deliver value to them. We have created this category to demonstrate that we value them. And we will never
make a sponsor of an even to pay for it. But we certainly want their representatives to be added to the database of those
who attended the events that they sponsored.
9. MEDIA REPRESENTATIVE: - every organization and event organizer want their events to receive publicity. The first people
to attract are the media representatives. It is our desire to receive publicity of our events. We will therefore not make any
official media representative pay for attending our events if they there on duty to cover the event and give us publicity.
