England were farmers. Each farm had a house
with a thatched roof where the family lived and

Anglo-Saxons were superstitious and believed in lucky charms. They thought

Saturn, Sun and Moon, but the other days are named after
Germanic gods, Tuesday (Tiw's day), Wednesday (Woden's
day), Thursday (Thor's day) and Friday (Freya's day
