Currently leading the Enterprise Technology Risk Evaluation and Controls Assurance teams. The Technology Risk
Evaluation (TRE) team specializes in assessing current and emerging technology risks associated with the development,
deployment and support of business applications and infrastructure systems across the Enterprise. In addition, TRE
provides technology risk guidance and consulting services. The Technology Controls Assurance team works closely
with the Enterprise Technology teams and other Fidelity business partners across the firm to maintain a control inventory,
control validation mechanisms, and coordinate audits and certifications such as SSAE16/SOC1, SysTrust/SOC3 and
ISO27001. Additional team responsibilities include overseeing external SSAE16/SysTrust audits, ISO27001 program
management and oversight, controls assurance, management of Information Technology General Controls, controls and
risk governance.
Key Accomplishments:
Leading an enterprise wide transformation to adopt standardized information technology general controls that
will allow for the monitoring of compliance across multiple business units supporting over 4000 assets
Served as the Chief of Staff to the CIO and managed the program management office for an IT organization with
an annual budget of $154M and a global staff of over 700 employees and contractors. Responsibilities include a
wide range of duties that leads to the health of the organization, provide executive-level support to top decision-
makers and project managers and oversee the finance statements and ratios, as well as IT budget planning,
monitoring the organization budget compliance, strategic planning, resource model planning, staff globalization
modeling and strategy, vendor strategy, communications strategy, coordination and collaboration with finance,
human resources and FPCMS Program Planning office, integration of IT to overall FPCMS strategy.
As Program Manager, led a $130+ million large complex project from the business case, program start-up
through the analysis phase of a complex project to consolidate fund accounting general ledger systems to a
third-party commercially available product, grew team to over 150 resources within a 5 month period, managed
the program including the analysis phase, definition of data strategy, for over 40 internal and 70 external
applications resulting in a revised timeline, budget and resource plan across multiple Fidelity business units,
responsible for executive communication with business unit and firm leadership.

Recovered and successfully delivered a $54M large complex and strategic IT program that provides a
centralized integration and control point for consolidated shareholder reporting and money movement. Program
required crisis management and turnaround to get a struggling project back on track. Responsibilities included
the program management of a global team of over 130+ resources including a fixed price contract utilizing an
offshore vendor, management of an in-house team to provide business requirements and QA oversight
resources, financial responsibility for the project budget, contract negotiations and oversight.
Contracted and managed an off-shore third party vendor who is responsible for the design and development of a
large complex project including a multi-year contract providing on-going development and operational support.
Conduct large complex project reviews across Fidelity’s business units resulting in project assessments that are
presented to the CXO levels of the corresponding business units.
Represented business unit on a number of firm-wide initiatives such as IT Transformation, large complex
projects analysis and reviews, off-shore development center proposal and selection, project tracking and
reporting standardization, and standard key performance indicators.

Organized, recruited, mentored, and managed team of 50+ employees and contractors through the design,

statewide, criminal court system.

Designed, developed, and implemented four case management systems over a four-year period that fully

package and led a detailed risk assessment interpreting HIPAA security regulations for a major hospital network

Implemented an identity and access management solution to increase security and streamline access to
electronic patient health information, resulting in operational improvement by decreasing help desk calls 40%.
Performed application IT assessment for major hospital, analyzing more than 160 applications containing

address identified deficiencies resulting from newly created security policies and procedures.
