This presentation gives the a general introduction into different vegetation types found nowadays on Tenerife, but also on other Canarian and Madeiran islands. After a short explanation of the geological history of this volcanic islands you will learn about locations I visited and examples of typical plants found in every specific vegetation type. The presentation is in german, but since all botanical names are in latin, you should not have a problem understanding it.
