construction and route clearance equipment in support of (ISO) three Brigade Combat Teams within two
regional commands throughout Afghanistan.
• Led 130 Soldiers in the execution of over 600 route clearance missions covering over 100,000 km of
highly dangerous terrain resulting in the highest rate of Improvised Explosive Device (IED) finds in the
Battalion at 84 IEDs, ZERO deaths, and winning the Battalion’s Best Combat Company award.
• Instructed senior British Combat Engineers how to incorporate US Army route clearance operations into
their Tactical Training Procedures to improve their technical and tactical combat mission capabilities.
• Developed and implemented a new Battalion Mentorship Program inspiring over 17 Soldiers to graduate
from both Warrior and Advance Leaders Courses resulting in one Brigade Non-Commission Officer
(NCO) of the Year, one Brigade Soldier of the Year, and six Battalion NCO of the Quarter awards.

• Managed seven Soldiers in the production, analysis, and dissemination of critical geospatial intelligence
for two superior Officers in the Engineer Brigade responsible for providing operational intelligence to
1,994 Soldiers deployed throughout Iraq resulting in commendation awards for extraordinary quality.
• Oversaw the development of an intelligence database system that tracked over 150 enemy events per week
providing intelligence to over 100 combat patrol briefs for senior leaders conducting battlefield circulation.
• Mentored 85 linguists’ managers to supervise over 50 civilian interpreters ISO four Battalions across three
Provinces assuring quality interpretation coverage for every mission throughout Iraq.
• Developed a standard operational procedure to maintain accountability of over 30 Protected Distribution

Brigade, August 2005-July 2007
• Managed the Battalion awards, NCO Evaluation Reports, and Officer Evaluation Reports database to
ensure all administrative documents were properly submitted on time.
• Planned and implemented a Battalion training calendar for 685 Soldiers to ensure the Battalion maintained
compliance with the training guidance outlined by Higher Headquarters.
• Mentored over 500 Soldiers, Sailors, and Airmen during post-mobilization training resulting in 100%
readiness for Operation Iraqi Freedom (OIF) and Operation Enduring Freedom (OEF) deployments.
• Supervised the managing and execution of the Battalion Observer Controller/Trainer (OC/T) Certification
Program, which qualified over 20 OC/T Soldiers.
• Instructor for the Army Combative Program for Fort Lewis Infantry and Prime Power Units ensuring
100% readiness of all Soldiers for OIF/OEF deployments.
• Developed and implemented a Battalion Combatives Program ensuring 43 Soldiers were proficient in

• Responsible for the training, counseling, discipline, health, and welfare of over 2,500 Soldiers annually in
10 Military Occupational Specialties (MOS) while developing 13 NCOs in an Engineer Advance
Individual Training (AIT) Company.
• Planned and supervised daily operations and tasking’s for nine Drill Sergeants ensuring the certification of
three newly assigned Drill Sergeant.
• Developed and implemented a Drill Sergeant Standard Operating Procedure and an Advanced Initial
Training Soldier’s Leadership Program to enhance the efficiency of daily training operations.
• Managed the maintenance and accountability of over $80K worth of barrack furniture and equipment
resulting in commendation from the TRADOC Accessions Command Sergeant Major for having the best
maintained barracks on the installation.
• Developed a remedial Physical Fitness Program adopted as the Battalion standard resulting in 100% pass
rate and winning 3rd
place out of 110 teams during the 5th
Annual Marine 10K Volkslauf Run.
• Resourced and managed the first-ever AIT Field Training Exercise for 10 separate MOSs recognized by
