7. Construction Process
White Oak was used to create the majority of the frame. The curved parts were made from layers of plywood bent around a mold and
then layered with white oak veneer to match the rest of the frame. Painted corrugated PVC sheet was used to represent the metal.
25. Technical Drawings
The brief was to accurately model a USB device using only the image provided of Dave Terris’ design (left)
and then produce fully defined technical drawings and high quality renders.
30. This was done as part of a group project, I worked with 2 other people to deconstruct
and explore how an everyday budget kettle was manufactured, part by part.
37. Concpet Sketches
This brief was a brand identity project where I was to develop concepts for both Ducati,
and Bang & Olufsen before deciding on one brand to take through to further development.

40. Technical Drawings
This was done as part of my internship for Peter Danko Design inc. I was responsible for producing the 3D CAD model
and technical drawings using Solidworks, which would then be sent to a manufacturer to have a prototype made.
44. 3D CAD Development
Using 3DS Max I modelled my chosen design, I then 3D printed
a 1:6 scale model to make sure I was happy with the form.
45. Construction Process
From the CAD model I created, I used a program called 123D Make to produce layers of 2D linework which I then laser cut from cardboard and as-
sembled. I then used car body filler to cover the cardboard and sanded it down to achieve the smooth form of my design and give the model strength.
