1. One exciting and unforgettable experience in London
I was waiting this trip with impatience and huge excitement. I had a concept for
this city from documental and play movies, and from acquaintance’s stories.
But now I would personally see and feel
the spirit of the Old England.
Later in the evening on the 20th of
November we arrived at the Heathrow
Airport. Our kind hosts met us at the
airport and took us to the hotel in
Greenwich. On the next day was the first
meeting with our partners fromRanelagh
Primary School – host school.
I’mfascinating by colleague’s kindness and I’m greatly impressed by the
students, whowith such a pride introduced to us their classmates and teachers,
and showed to us their school.
The corners, beautiful framing in front of
every classroom, at once show how
different are the children in this school and
you feel the exceptionally tolerance, with
whom the teachers apply to this
multinational children’s group.
The idea for sports activities in theschool’s corridors like me so much, that I
could apply it in our school too.

2. The day ends in traditional British pub,
where we’ll feel the typical English
atmosphere for relax with a glass of beer,
after the end of working day. Before that
we had an opportunity to enjoy the
beautiful lightened Tower Bridge.
By visiting Borough Market: Historic
food market we’re dipping in one
culinary fairytale. Christmas spirits
wells up from every counter.
Theexclusive variety of meals made
by old English recipes, are amazing.
There’s offering different kinds of
home-made sausages, cheese, pastry
and bonbons. Interesting touch for
this market it’s the presence of various cuisines – Chinese, Indian, Korean,
Turkish, from Bangladesh, Pakistan and others. We’re shopping, tasting
different foods and enjoy the atmosphere. But that wasn’t all. The culinary
experience continued in the afternoon on that day in the school of our hosts.
They were organize one multicultural
evening devote to the various national
cuisines. With kindly involvement of the
parents we had a chance to taste different
traditional dishes from Mozambique,
Nigeria, Bangladesh, India, Romania,
Russia, Spain, Ireland, Israel and many
others. This idea presents the multicultural
environment in this schoolthatvery
impressed me.

3. Saturday, 23rd of November,so long awaited sightseeing tour of places in
London forthcoming.I’ve heard so much about: Green Park, Buckingham
Palace, Houses of Parliament, Big Ben, Horse guard’s Parade, Downing Street
and Trafalgar Square, Greenwich Park and Royal Observatory. It’s difficult to
me to describe in words my impressions. You just have to see them. The
boattriponthe ThamesRiver fromtheFerriswheel,knownasthe“LondonEye”to
Greenwichenable us to enjoy the wonderful view.
For our last night in London our hosts have provided a dinner inrestaurant
located on the Historic Brick
Lane Street. The food is typical
for Bangladesh. Wholly unknown to me, therefore with interest and curiosity I
taste every dish. The taste of the dishes is strange to me. The sweet and sour
taste is atypical for Bulgarian cuisine. The only thing, close to our traditions in
cooking, is adding spicy spice to some foods.

4. On the next day we travel to Bulgaria.
We make last photos as a souvenir at
the airportwith wishes to go back
again in this very exciting city London.
