Storytime Drop-Ins
Storytime programs at Pickering Public Library are geared toward caregivers and young children of all ages
and abilities. This is a chance to come together and enjoy stories, songs and learn movement rhymes in a
group setting. At Storytime, caregivers are supported in their role as their children’s first and best teachers and
will discover new techniques for sharing a love of reading and language with their children.

start? We have booked our Maker Space to provide
you the space you need to work on, get ideas about,
or just start a project.  We will share tips for making
props on our 3D printers, carvey, and vinyl cutter as
well as provide tips on how to perfect your sfx makeup
for realistic bruising, cuts, or scars.
You can also learn how to use our sewing machines,
which are available for you to check out and take
home!

of freedomseeker Cecelia Jane Reynolds who fled
Kentucky slavery by way of Niagara Falls in 1846.
Twin excavations in Toronto and upstate New York
help show her last days in slavery and her new life
in freedom.

Twin excavations in Toronto and upstate New York help show her last days in slavery and her new life in freedom.
