As the franchise owner/operator of Pinkberry Yogurt in the Houston market, I worked closely with Pontus
Dahlstrom from 2012 – 2015. Pontus was on the opening team of the Pinkberry location in The Woodlands
when he was in high school and he continued to come back and work for me during holidays and Summers
when he left for college.
At Pinkberry, we aim to hire people who display the qualities in the acronym SHARP – Service First, High
Energy, Appreciative, Respectful and Passionate.
Pontus is SHARP. He consistently works hard and was always kind to customers and his co-workers. I know
that Pontus gives the same amount of energy and passion to everything that he does in his life, from school to
work to golf. He balanced all of his duties and never complained or seemed overwhelmed. Pontus always
came in with a positive attitude and has a very calm energy. He focuses and doesn’t stop until the job is done in
a way that exceeds expectations.
Although we always had a manager on duty, Pontus acted as a leader by setting a good example for his peers.
He completed tasks before being asked and always followed the standards and rules of the business, as if it
wouldn’t occur to him to act in any other manner. He has good judgment and seems wise beyond his years.
Pontus is very intelligent, which makes you look forward to working with him. As an employer, I wish I could
find 20 people exactly like him at each of my four stores.
Because of these qualities, I know that Pontus will dedicate himself to being successful in his life. I can say
