1. Roles and Responsibilities in Suez
 Meeting with people and collecting data through physical survey of various slums in
Mumbai City. For the need of the Project water for slum. Doing the diagnostic survey of
the slum, doing the household socio-economic and impact survey, fill the database and
mapping with collected information. Being reliable and trustworthy emergency
operation.
 Implementing the project to provide information and support services on certain basic
entitlements for slum in Mumbai and initiating a Water for Slum project.
 Coordinate and strength relations with other voluntary organizations, Central and State
Government departments and other relevant organizations.
 Networking and Advocacy for the rights of slum dwellers. Coordinate and strength
relations with other voluntary organizations, Central and State Government
departments and other relevant organizations.
 Oversee district level community need assessments and mapping exercises of other
 Stakeholders in the local areas (government / NGO/ private and corporate foundations).
 Ensuring a close collaboration with communities in slums areas and facilitator for
communities and municipalities to build jointly solutions to connect low income areas.
 Ensure that all the stakeholders are involved in the process of project implementation.
 Organizing awareness programme on various water issues , use of water and
importance of our project.
 Facilitator with communities and municipalities for co-building solutions to connect LIA
 Empowerment of communities and CBOs
 Relation with communities and community leaders
 Organize community meetings
 Control and follow up of water committees if existing
 Propose community organization and governance to manage service if applicable
 Empowerment of all actors on social engineering and community liaison
 Follow up relations with communities at each step of the project
 Designing and communicating awareness campaign on water consumption, hygiene,
payment of service in coordination with the communication and customer services
team.
 Facilitate community relations
