2. Now a days there is a competition for mega plants
capacity 5000-5500 TPD. To lower urea fabrication costs
through the means of economy of scale, The urea
licensers has developed mega plant concept. This
concept (5000 MTPD) is based on proven process steps.
All individual process steps are commercially proven
and no scale-up of equipment used in a 4000 mtpd plant
is needed to satisfy the equipment requirements for ais needed to satisfy the equipment requirements for a
5000 mtpd plant using this new concept. The double H.P.
Carbamate condenser also used for energy saving. The
Licensers has revamped a conventional urea plant into
the mega Plant. The Large capacity plants are always
beneficial for energy saving and productivity. The simple
change can be done like Vortex mixture and booster HET
can be changed to increase the efficiency and
productivity.
