Description: ConApp Server is a plug-in for the Microsoft Outlook. It is client-server
architecture, with client being written in .Net and server is written using J2EE & Spring.
ConApp is a loom server in the sense it packages & organizes the internet artifacts such as
email, fax, voicemail & text. The basic idea is the conversation group of similar emails, fax
or any artifacts mentioned can be group as a part of single conversation. If conversation on
a particular topic happened through emails & voice mails, we can group these things as
apart of single conversation. The design followed domain-driven design and hence a service
layer approach.
There are three different layers:
Web Service Layer(Communication with client)
Service Layer(Intermediate)
Persistence Layer(Storing the artifact meta data)
Responsibilities:
Implemented Persistence Layer through xml configuration based Hibernate.
Involved in coding of the Service Layer API’s which acts as Interface for Persistence
