Repeating Addition Method
Starting with ‘0’ do Repeating Addition of 8
0+8=8, 8+8=16, 8+8+8=24, 8+8+8+8=32



                   0+8       8+8        16+8        24+8

               0         8         16          24          32
And we get these products.
Duplicate these products put below the underline.




           0      8      16      24      32

           0      8       16     24      32
Determine 8 ÷ 2




             0      8   16   24   32
8÷2= 4
             0      8   16   24   32
Determine 8 ÷ 2
         Since 8 ÷ 2 equals 4, write 4 on the left of
         each number below the underline.

8÷2= 4
             40        8      16       24      32
Since 8 ÷ 2 equals 4, write 4 on the left of
         each number below the underline.

             40      48       16       24      32
Determine 8 ÷ 2
         Since 8 ÷ 2 equals 4, write 4 on the left of
         each number below the underline.
          And, as 4 represent tens place value, add 4
          to the tens place value of 16. It becomes 56

         each number below the underline.
