1. SDLC Management System
ABSTRACT
The need for the software industry to computerize the application processing and
servicing the customer request through automated modules is most necessary and now inevitable.
SDLC Management System is time collection software that is streamlined for billing and
invoicing purposes. SDLC Management System allows time tracking for customer and project
related tasks. After being collected the data can then be exported for invoice generation.
The system defined in this script is up to date and caters to all kinds of request faced by
the software companies, being developed in java it is also flexible modularized highly
parameterized and hence can be easily developed by any other application because of its
componentized approach.
The four main activates when working with SDLC Management System are Project and
Customer Management Reporting System Administration.
EXISTING SYSTEM & DISADVANTAGES
In present system all traditional works are done either manually or needed paper work.
Knowing the status of each every project is not an easy task. We cannot easily track the project
in which phase.
All these drawbacks can be overcomes in proposed System.

2. The proposed system is a web based application and provides a centralized database with all
related information. The application is a SDLC management System through which all
management can be done at a single place. This system provides a number of interfaces for
different functionalities and operations. This enables admin and client to quickly verify the
phases of different project
Modules Description
The system is proposed to have the following modules:
• Admin Module
• Analyst Module
• Client module
• Designer module
• Developer module
• Tester module
Check Balance module:
Admin is allowed to add the project. The admin must already have an user id and password to
login. Admin can check the status of the project.

3. Analyst module:
AAnalyst is allowed to develop SRS(System Requirement Specification).If needed Analyst must
modify the SRS on demand of Client. The analyst must already have an user id and password to
login..
Client module:
A Client is allowed to check SRS(System Requirement Specification) and validate it . If needed
client can request for modification of SRS . The client must register to login.
Designer module:
A Designer is allowed to give the status of a development of a design for assigned project . The
Designer must already have an user id and password to login.
Developer module:
A Developer is allowed to give the status of a development of the assigned project . The
Developer must already have an user id and password to login.
Tester module:
A Tester is allowed to give the status of a testing of assigned project .If needed on depending of
test cases he can send back the project to designer and developer The Tester must already have
an user id and password to login.

• JDBC/ODBC drivers installed.
• Servlets 2.0 and JSP
• Functional Java enabled browser.
• Data Base (MYSQL)

• Internet connection with 33.6 KBPS Modem.
• Pentium 233 MHz. 42 GB HD, 256 MB RAM (Server).
Any P.C with Windows/Unix compatibility, 12 MB RAM (Client).
• Operating System (Windows/Unix/Linux).
