One of the most common modes of travel is
traveling by air. Customers who wish to travel by
air nowadays have a wide variety of airlines and
a range of timings to choose from. The World
Wide Web has become tremendously popular
over the last four years, and currently most of
the airlines have made provision for
online reservation of their flights

5. • The Airline Reservation System (ARS) is a
software application to assist an airline with
transactions related to making ticket
reservations, which includes blocking, reserving,
canceling and rescheduling tickets.
• Make it easy for travelers to check the ticket
status or make changes to their trip.

• The project is aimed at exposing the
relevance and importance of Airline
Reservation Systems (ARS). It is projected
towards enhancing the relationship between
customers and airline agencies through the
use of ARSs, thereby easing the flight
ticketing and selling process and all air
traveling operations.
