For me, if you say "lose 40 pounds in one week" I will say that is too quick and deadly. It is either you do not achieve that goal or you die while trying to achieve it. It is practically impossible to lose 40 pounds in a week except of of course if you undergo some unhealthy surgery. Also, if you say "lose 5 pounds in a month" I will say that is really slow but super safe. It now depends on your body and you. How much weight do you think you can lose in a week, a month or in 3 months? It is better you deal with yourself and not with what someone told you.
