INTERN STATISTICS
When asked: “Your gas gauge says 5 km until empty - you reach an
intersection with a Shell, Esso and Petro Canada. What do you do?”
80% of interns chose Shell
“Light a match at both Esso and Petro Canada stations, and then
create my shrine at the Shell station and worship the all mighty
Pectin! In all seriousness, probably go to Esso, because they have a
cool mascot”
“I’d wonder how I ended up at the intersection of
Highway 43 and 39 Ave, Valleyview, AB. And then head
over to Shell to fill up and grab a fresh made-to-order
pastrami panini at the deli”
“Drive until I’m on empty and
then abandon my car…I’m a
broke student”
“Go to Shell. Go to Shell even if its
6km away. Support the team and
push that car 1 km”
“After noticing my gas levels are below the
ALARP level I would promptly follow the
condition based PM that requires me to pull
into the shell station and fill up my tank”
“Loyal to the Shell Oil.
Always stop at Shell”
