4. Siddha means to achieve or succeed.
बलोपचयवर्णानणां यस्मणद् व्यणधिशतस्य च।
भवत्येतेन् धिद्धिस्तु धििबद्धस्तरतो मत:॥
(िु.धच.३८।११६)
It improves strength and complexion of the body
and it is effective in many specific diseases so it is
called as siddha basti.

ु लत्थणनणां क्वणथो मणगधिकण मिु।
ििैन्धवै: ियष्टयणह्व: धििबद्धस्तररधत स्मृत:॥

7. पञ्चमूलस्य धनष्क्क्वणथस्तैलमां मणगधिकण मिु।

The term asthapana is synonymous
with Niruha.
The basti known as the madhu tailika
is only a alternative of a niruha basti.
The term yapana, yuktaratha and
siddha basti convey also the same
meaning.
