2. Introduction to FMCG
Fast-moving consumer goods (FMCG) are products that are
sold quickly and at relatively low cost
Though the profit margin made on FMCG products is relatively
small, they are generally sold in large quantities, thus the
cumulative profit on such production can be substantial
Examples such as soft drinks, toiletries, over the counter drugs,
toys, processed foods and many other consumables.

ITC was incorporated on August 24, 1910 under the
name Imperial Tobacco Company of India Limited. ITC Limited
is an Indian FMCG company headquartered in Kolkata, West
Bengal. Its diversified business include 6 segment:-
