2. What does it mean??
Infertility is defined as a disease of the
reproductive system that impairs the body's
ability to perform the basic function of
reproduction.
It should not be confused with Impotence
which is the inability to achieve or maintain an
erection long enough to engage in sexual
intercourse.

Infertility affects about 10 percent of couples
of childbearing age.
Infertility is not just a woman's concern.

attributed to male alone factors and about
one-third to female alone factors.

However, studies indicate that 35% of infertility is related to
male factor problems.

disorders.
