I am currently postdoctoral fellow at the University of Isfahan. In my previous position, I was an assistant professor of geology at Islamic Azad University. My specific research interests include mineralogy (currently garnet and mica). My research involves an integrated approach with field and geochemical components, complemented by collaboration with international scientists. Earth science is going to be the science of this century. Population growth, the need of new energy solutions and natural resources getting more depleted, increase the need for highly trained earth scientists.
