line advertising platforms using tools like apache storm , kafka and hbase .

Worked in Grid Engineering team to develop a platform to monitor and control Morgan Stanley's
shared infrastructure which consists of 8500 servers.
• Developed a backend end in java to give information about the health and performance of the
of the servers and the jobs that are running on them .

of the parallel applications running on them .

Integrated IBM Pureflex Systems with Qradar security Intelligence in order to enable security
awareness and threat detection over the entire pureflex system.
• Worked on pureflex system softwares backend to integrate it with Qradar in order to augment

PROJECTS & ACTIVITIES
• Collaborative On-line Editor : Developed a collaborative editor in java using Database
Transaction concepts like Timestamp ordering and Differential Synchronization. Users can log
into the application from multiple devices and edit a document concurrently with eventual
consistency.
• Real time Activity Recognition : Developed an application which detects 10 different kinds of
activity in a video sequence shot by camera in real time . Image manipulation was done using
OpenCV and python libraries .
• Porting java compiler on Indigenous Processor : worked on Developing a compiler and
JVM for java for a new processor developed by De-fence Research Development Organization .
• Implementation of Database : Developed a database in java that can execute basic SQL
commands and perform the basic functions of storing and fetching data.
• Search Engine for ics.uci.edu : Implemented a search engine for ics using open source java
API and initial index in MongoDB .Included ranking metrics for producing relevant search
results
• Installable File System : Implemented a file system for Linux that can store a single file that
was as big as the raw disk capacity, no matter how big the disk. It can also store as many
distinct files as there are blocks on the physical device.

• Distributed Interactive Simulations : Developed a software agent using spacetime
framework(under development at UC Irvine) . Different agents were deployed by students and
