revolution, to honour Indigenous sovereignty, and to
protect the land and water"
• Idle No More has and will continue to help build
sovereignty & resurgence of nationhood.
• Idle No More will continue to pressure government
and industry to protect the environment.
• Idle No More will continue to build allies in order to
reframe the nation to nation relationship, this will
be done by including grassroots perspectives,
issues, and concern

• There’s also an amendment to the Indian
Act in the bill that allows for surrender of
reserve land without proper consent of all

• An omnibus...It lumps a slew of bills
under one name…One removes much
of the protection under the Navigable
Waters Protection Act and, in some
cases, totally removes that protection. “It
gives major corporations direct and easy
access to our waters and to our land”

- Harper government closes down world renowned libraries
and destroys centuries old books

blankets contaminated with small pox.
The Gradual Civilization Act - the legal definition of an Indian as, an
uncivilized person, destitute of the knowledge of God and of any fixed
and clear belief in religion“
Chemical warfare - Present day Chemical Experiments on
Aboriginal Peoples. Xyolhemeylh Health and Family services program
is engaging in GENOCIDE through the administration of highly
dangerous vaccine

an empire or nation over foreign countries
De-humanisation – to deprive of human qualities or
attributes
Assimilation - In the nineteenth century, the goal of
government was to make Canada's native cultures disappear.
Oppression - unjust or cruel exercise of authority or power
Colonialism - the disconnection of Native people from the
land, their history, their identity and their rights so that others
can benefit.
