My second grade students will locate the
oceans around the world, and describe sea life
through classroom activities, research, and
other peer presentations by the end of the
week with 90% accuracy.
4. Schedule
Day 1: What is the ocean? What causes waves and
currents? Why is it salty?
Day 2: Locating the 5 main oceans. The difference
between oceans and seas.
Day 3: Sea life/Food chain (students pick animal
interested in to research)
Day 4:What is a coral reef and where is it located?
Day 5: Presentations/Putting it all together
