  1. Used for things you do each day, or for habitual actions. Words to look out for are • always, often • usually • sometimes • seldom, never • every day • every week • every year • on Mondays 1. 2. The verb to be is used to talk about people. To show their status, or character. Examples: They are nice people I am Richard 3. The Negative form The negative for all verbs (except to be) is formed by using the helper verb to do and the word not.
