The past tense - a quick revision!

  1. Used for things that happened and finished in the past. Words to look out for are • yesterday • last week • last month • last year Normally formed by adding -ed the base of the verb, but there are irregulars! 1. 2. The negative Use the base of the ver and past of do + not. Note there is no need to add -ed Examples: I did not walk He did not walk 3.
