A CHATBOT is an artificial intelligence (AI) software that can simulate a conversation (or a chat) with a user in natural language through messaging applications, websites, mobile apps or through the telephone. The last decade saw bots as an integral part of tech companies. For example, IBM has Watson, Apple has Siri, Google has Google Now, Samsung has SVoice, Amazon has Alexa, Microsoft has Cortana and Facebook has Portal (backed by Alexa). WHAT IS A CHATBOT?

They are intelligent, of superior design, offer better user-experience. Rule Based: These are programs with fixed information and hence offer limited help. They are used for with limited customer access or to resolve back-end However, fixed chatbots are not-so-popular due to their inability to understand perplexed human behavior.   6. 6. WHAT IS A CHATBOT??? This is the first task that a chatbot performs. It analyzes the user’s request to identify the user intent and to extract relevant entities. The ability to identify the user’s intent and extract data and relevant entities contained in the user’s request is the first condition and the most relevant step at the core of a chatbot.
