Professional Coaching Experience:
2014 - Present Assistant Football Coach - Yuma High School - Yuma, Arizona
Hired on as the wide receiver, defensive backs and special teams coach, as well as the SAQ coordinator. The
program had its best season in six years. My offensive concepts led to the Quarterback breaking the 21 year
standing record for passing yards, three of my receivers made 1st Team All Region as well as one of my defensive
backs. Using my own personal time, I reached out to college coaches around the country with emails and highlight
films. Eight of my seniors are currently in contact with multiple 4 year institutions.
2012 - 2014 Assistant Football Coach - Arizona Western College - Yuma, Arizona
Tasked as the wide receiver coach and strength and conditioning coordinator at Arizona Western College.
Responsible for developing specific strength conditioning programs for the team overall and individual players
based upon team and individual goals. This program resulted in being Top 10 Nationally Ranked and going to the
El Toro Bowl twice during the 2 year time period. I personally had 5 young men get the opportunity and offers to
move on to Division I programs.
2010 –2012 Assistant Football Coach/Head JV Coach - Franklin High School - Portland, Ore
Developed a winning wide receiver and defensive back program; as well as a speed and agility conditioning and
improvement program, and assisting with the introduction of the Hudl Program. I learned the program and took
the time to teach the kids how to best utilize all of its features. While in this position the varsity team made it to the
play offs for the first time in almost 10 years. The SAQ program I implemented increased the speed of the entire
team and increased morale tenfold. I also used my own time to contact colleges nationwide with emails and
highlight films of my athletes, three of my seniors got full ride scholarships.
2010- 2011 Assistant Baseball Coach - Franklin High School - Portland, Oregon
In helping out with the baseball team, I implemented the same SAQ program to help the athletes get stronger and
faster. One of my athletes was named 1st Team All League and given Honorable Mention 1st Team All State. Two
others were named 2nd Team All League.
2000-2002 Assistant Football Coach - Tigard High School - Tigard, Oregon
Responsible for all in-season and off-season aspects of this 4A (highest level in the state of Oregon at the time)
program. Instilled a high level and commitment and discipline in players; this resulted in all athletes being
academically eligible throughout tenure. Coached and mentored players resulting in six players earning Academic All
State, 1st Team All League and playing in the NW Shrine Game.
2001 - 2003 Assistant Football Coach - Barlow High School - Gresham, Oregon
Coached defensive backs and offensive wide receivers. Managed both the film breakdown program and tendency
scouting program. Developed individual and team in-season and off-season strength training resulting in XXX
measurable over XXX time.
1998 - 2000 Assistant Football Coach - Franklin High School - Portland, Oregon
Acted as the head freshman coach and assistant varsity coach. Responsible for the In charge of defensive program,
scouting program, offensive and defensive lineman, and linebackers. Managed both the film breakdown program
and computer tendency scouting program for the varsity team. Developed individual and team in-season and off-
season strength training.
2. 1993 –2001 Slot Receiver - Edmonton Eskimos- Canadian Football League - Edmonton, Ontario
Drafted into a starting slot receiver position. Led my team in catches 1993, 1994, 1995 & 1996. I helped my team
earn 3 Canadian Football League championships. I made All CFL three years in a row (equivalent to NFL All Star).
Throughout my 8 season career in the CFL I was invited to try out for the NFL twice. My try outs resulted in a spot
in the Oakland Raiders Training Camp. The first try I was cut after the 1st week, my second try I was the last one to
be cut for the Final Roster.
1990 – 1995 Strength and Conditioning Coach - Linfield College - McMinnville, Oregon
Worked on a volunteer basis under John Williams, Head Strength and Conditioning Coach. Developed multi-sport
training programs by assessing each players individual needs and goals and contrasting them with team goals.
Worked with both college football and college basketball players on training and conditioning, resulting in stronger
and faster athletes.
