• Web analytics service
• Track performance of a website and sales activity
• Data visualization tools such as dashboards, scorecards and motion charts,
which display changes in data over time
• Aimed to small and medium sized retail websites
• Available to anyone with a Google account
HOW IT WORKS
• The system collects data through a JavaScript page tag inserted in the code of pages the user
wants to collect data on
• Tracking code runs in the client browser and collects the data
• Sent to a Google data collection server
• Visits
• Pages/Visit
• Bounce Rate
• Avg. Time on site
• New visitors
FOR BUSINESS
• Any retail website
• Optimize their marketing campaigns for effective budget allocation
• Crucial data to decrease bounce rate, analyze potential new markets, and
