Innovation Lab and Services Test Technician II.
Johnstech is a company providing test solutions to the semi-conductor industry. My role is to
ensure high standards of their products through testing and analysis in the I-Lab department.
As a Technician working in the Innovation Lab (I-Lab) at Johnstech my prime responsibility is
working with engineers and others within the company to evaluate, test and analyze existing
and new product design. Using varied test and inspection techniques and through data
collection and analysis. I assist in determining the direction of product improvement and
failure analysis. This is accomplished using both standard and improvised test configurations
and platforms.
I am well versed in the use of all associated inspection, test and documentation tools. Some of
these are; Joel SEM (Scanning Electron Microscope), Instron Tensile/Load test platforms,
Keithely and other data collection meters, Thermal stream units and pneumatic platforms,
Standard and specialized microscopes/cameras, Calipers, micrometers and other inspection
tools, and am proficient in the office software, specifically Excel which is used on a daily basis.

Envoy is a Medical start up company. They are developing, and now manufacturing
implantable hearing devices for sale overseas, and soon in the US.
My role at Envoy was varied. I worked much of my time in the Clean Room, helping carry out
and refine manufacturing processes and build product. Along with those duties I also worked
with engineering to build prototype electronic test boards and used OrCad to work with
schematics. I had many duties at Envoy spanning both manufacturing and engineering, and
used all associated tools and test equipment including laser welders, medical adhesives,
resistance welders, soldering and all forms of standard electronics devices. I also completed
training and was an internal ISO auditor.

Responsible for loading, unloading and maintaining environmental stress jobs of various
semiconductor products. In addition, I am to maintain all environmental chambers, and
associated equipment including test boards, and proto-type equipment.
Also, maintaining computer databases of jobs and related equipment. Use and proficiency in
several windows based programs such as Excel, Access, and Or CAD to design schematic
drawings for test board layout.
