U.S. NAVY, SANTA RITA, GUAM – MAINTENANCE MATERIAL CONTROL OFFICER, AVIATION ORDNANCEMEN,
CHIEF PETTY OFFICER 07/2013 - PRESENT
Accountable for all aspects of daily operations, including strategic long-term planning, distribution, and restoration
of 3.5K line items worth more than $620M in 5 production facilities, and 3 maintenance satellite facilities in the
Republic of Korea, Japan, and a mobile unit in the Middle East. Answerable for the upkeep and restoration of 10
weapon systems for Europe, Southwest Asia, and the Middle East. Direct the testing and repair of air and surface
weapon systems for Navy Airborne Weapons Maintenance Unit –One (NAWMU-1). Oversee production efforts of 97
personnel at the facilities while managing the redistribution of deliverables back into U.S. Navy inventory.
 Achieved total savings of $124.8M ($5.2M per month) from 2014 thru 2016; improved restoration process;
met and exceeded quota on 2 deliverables by 50%: increased restoration turnover rate, and redistribution.
 Decomposed each deliverable restoration requirement into individual activities utilizing Pert estimator,
and other tools, and techniques.
 Improved restoration durations by restoring individual components of the deliverable, and reordered the
restoration activities increasing turnover time while eliminating slack.
 Increased customer base by restoring deliverables for the largest weapons program office in the
organization in less than the agreed time frame by 2 months, and under the budget of $10K.
 Saved $90K monthly while raising monthly production by 42% increasing line items restoration, and
deliverables.
 Negotiated and acquired additional funding from 3 financial contracts increasing Command’s budgets by
$10K per quarter, a boost of $5K, while also increasing the operating services, and training funds by $50K
annually; instituted process that accounted for all costs acquired during a quarter, and submitted budget
with constraints for the increase.

U.S. NAVY, USS DWIGHT D. EISENHOWER CVN-69, NORFOLK, VA – QUALITY ASSURANCE SAFETY MANAGER 

Aircraft carrier assigned to Command, carrier strike group 8 in support of national tasking.
Charged with supervision, training and career development of 120 employees in all aspects of daily production
procedures in receiving, assembly, issuing, and inventory of 2.5K line items.
 Supervised 127 employees in restoration of 26 warehouses, and preventive maintenance of 3.5K pieces of
support equipment 2 months prior to required completion date; reduced operating cost by $3.5M.
 Managed expeditious transfer of 200 tons of hazardous material valued at more than $280M. Completed
transfer in 3 days reducing transfer time by 4 days saving a total of over 5K manhours.
 Supervised 115 personnel in the restoration of 10K items of equipment, verified 6K maintenance records
resulting in a perfect score during upper echelon inspection.
 Implemented, administrated, and trained 300 employees completing 100 hours of instruction in safe
shipping and receiving of hazardous material improving the operational safety of the organization.
U.S. NAVY, NAS FALLON, FALLON, NV – SUPPORT EQUIPMENT AND HAZARDOUS MATERIAL BRANCH

Naval Air Station Fallon supports training and redistribution of hazardous material in support of Naval air squadrons.
In charge of the management of 3.5K support equipment line items, and held accountability for shipping and
receiving of 1.5K hazardous material line items. Supervised 40 employees in daily operations, and ensured
compliance with federal and state requirements, raising certification level of 10 employees.
 Oversaw maintenance of 7.5K pieces of support equipment, improved inventory tracking and issuing with a
95% accuracy rate, improving maintenance and upkeep while reducing turnover time by 5 days.
 Increased shipments of hazardous material to organizational customers by 128 tons with cost savings of
$1.5M. Shipped 628 tons of hazardous material complying with federal and state regulations.
