The Grand Prairie Fine Arts Academy High School Visual Arts Program has 38 high school and 68 middle school artists who concentrate in 2D and 3D studio art. Students spend on average 15 hours per week in the studio and have won awards at the state and national levels. The program aims to expand students' technical skills and prepare them artistically for college or careers, and introduces them to the business side of art through exhibitions, collaborations, guest lectures, and workshops.
