Leadership is defined as a set
of processes that creates
organizations or adapts them
to significantly changing
circumstances.
Leadership defines what the
future of the organization
should look like, aligns
people with that vision and
inspires them to make it
happen despite the obstacles
and circumstances.

Planning and Budgeting: Establishes
detailed steps and timetables for
achieving needed results, then
allocating the resources necessary to
make it happen
Organizing and Staffing:
Establishing a structure for
accomplishing plan requirements,
staffing deals with delegating
responsibility and authority for
carrying out the plan, providing
policies and procedures to help guide
people and creating systems to
monitor the implementation

Establishing Direction: developing
a vision for McIntosh School District
and the strategies needed for
producing the changes needed to
achieve that vision
Aligning People: Communicating
Direction in words and deeds to all
those who cooperation may be
needed so to influence the
creation of teams and coalitions
that understand the vision and
strategies that accept their validity
