Mobile CRM, pet management, and shelter promotion platform. Kriddr uses a unique database setup allowing all users to interact with animals digitally. We also integrate with Siri and have a bark recognition AI platform coming late 2018.
2. Executive Summary
Why we do what we do:
The idea for Kriddr was born the summer of 2017
when we tried to adopt a pet during the hurricane
and flooding disasters
The effort to adopt was a failure due to cumbersome,
chaotic and costly communication systems used by
shelters and volunteers
Kriddr makes communications effective and simple
AND has a multitude of retail and consumer benefits
In addition, Artificial Intelligence (AI) is changing how
we work and live; Kriddr takes advantage of AI
beyond your wildest imagination

3. B2C: Pet Profile Management
Overview: Pet owners face many challenges providing the best care for their pets.
However, most pet owners have not adopted mobile technology to support their
efforts. There are many reasons for this, but the main issue is similar to the personal
health recording challenge: we simply cannot rely on people to update profiles
themselves at scale. Kriddr provides a way for all service providers, and even
neighborhood groups to crowdsource these profiles, thus removing the burden from pet
owners, and creating an opportunity for others to represent their service on a unique
community platform.
UserAdoptionProcess:
-Jane owns Sammy, an Australian Huskie. She has played around with various pet apps, but isn't finding
the experience worth the effort to update it regularly or complete her pet's profile, despite the inundation
of emails from the mobile app developer.
-Tom owns a small dog walking business serving Jane and Sammy, and starts using Kriddr. He builds a
profile for Sammy like any other CRM record, and after walking Sammy creates an invoice for Jane. The
invoice updates Sammy's profile and Kriddr sends Jane a text with the invoice details.
-Jane then downloads Kriddr to see what this is about and upon entering her cellphone number, she finds
Sammy's profile!
-Jane then asks her local groomer, Doug, if he would also invoice her via Kriddr, thus automatically
updating Sammy's profile as well.
-Doug finds Kriddr much easier to use than other applications and begins using it to manage his other
clients, etc.
4. B2B: Omni-Channel Retail Support
Overview: As e-commerce grows, brick and mortar retailers need ways to keep
customers coming through the doors. Rather than offering discounts on services,
Kriddr suggests delivering a more personalized service through our mobile-
experience.
-Loss of revenue due to e-
commerce and increased
competition
-Reduced impact of
loyalty programs and
other discount measures
-Lack of customer data
and data solutions to
provide better service
Retailer Challenges
-Increase revenue per
employee by increasing
customer engagement
-Introduce a concierge
and highly personalized
service for customers
-Store data about animals
to market new products
and services

5. AI: Bark Recognition Technology
Overview:
Methods to build an effective artificial intelligence stack for animals and pets are
starting to become widely used. Google and other platforms have recently begun
identifying animals in pictures, and many systems are available to control dog barking
using AI, but there are no serious attempts to commercialize "animal voice recognition"
as such. Kriddr is doing just that using deep learning, contextual modeling.
User-Interface:
Pet owners will record their animal sounds using a feature similar to talk-to-
text within the app. These sounds will be recorded and stored to audibly
identify individual pets given an individual owner's database. To start,
animals noises will generate a series of random responses via push-
notifications and users will identify whether such random responses are
accurate.
Future Goals:
These initial responses will build the foundation for later iterations applying
machine learning to better predict the animals' needs.
Over time we will use correlations from thousands of animals to identify
changes in audio
data points to build a token based architecture, with the goal of predicting
animal needs using only the sounds they make.
6. The Future: Kriddr App Store
Overview: The Kriddr App Store will be an open source development platform on which
anyone can design and build a new function for their Kriddr interface, and distribute it to the
entire Kriddr community. Here are just a few fun ideas from our group...non-exhaustive. We
expect the community to develop and promote their own app features.
