(HIMACHAL PRADESH)
We operate our luxury campsite at 7700
feet (2300 Meters), 15 Kms ahead of Barot,
there lies a hidden paradise at the foot hills
of Dhauladhar, a large and beautiful valley
surrounded by mountains, a vast farmland
and fields of Cauliflower on step farms.
Surrounded by traditional villages and
wood houses, the villages of Nalhota,
Badagran and Rajgundha throw a different
world to the visitors. With green mountains,
flowing waterfalls, vast open lands, and
beautiful snow clad peaks offer a
magnificent experience. The entire area is
referred as Chotha Bhangal and is
partitioned by gushing UHL River flowing
from far ahead Thamsar Glacier which
forms a gateway to the legendary Bara
Bhangal, popularly known as remotest
village of Himalayas.
There are ample opportunities for adventure
enthusiasts in this area as there are small
yet beautiful treks to Bir-Billing,
Rajgundha, Hanuman Garh Fort, Dhathi,
Bir, Plachak, Johardi, Panharthu, Nehru
Pass and interiors of Nargu Wildlife
Sanctuary which is densely populated by
wild animals like Black Bear, Brown Bear,
Himalayan Palm Civent, barking Deer,
Indian Hare, common Langur, Leopard,
Rhesus Macaque, Himalayan yellow
throated stone Marten, Indian Porcupine,
common giant flying squirrel and Himalayan
Weasel.
