  1. House Scenario: (review and revise) Problem Statement: Reduce worksites to provide a higher level of customer service and potentially reduce budget items. Discuss what we will cover and what we wont. Not giving a plan, but giving an idea. Won’t cover: Specifications on work sites, plan of action, Costs, time frames Will cover: The idea, the demand, and suggestions for implementation White House initiative: Talk about memorandums. WH Mandate that all federal agencies eliminate all excess real estate
  2. This video will visualize a defendant that was released from Arraignment went to release services, and decided to adhere to release order the next day. Drug tested, was placed in GSU with possible placement into Treatment(?!?), was instructed to report to 601 for an assessment with SSAC, they actually went to 633 10th floor however they only conducted Alcohol assessments, they were then instructed to report to 601 for SSAC assessment. Defendant will go to 601 and ask Security where to go…Security will instruct them to the 2nd floor which is GSU and then the defendant will be instructed to go to the 7th floor for assessment which is going to last 50min. Then the next day they will report back to case manager at 601, then case manager tells them they were ineligible for treatment then instructed to go back to the 2nd floor for GSU, the PA will look in PRISM to see who the case manager is, and then the PA will instruct them to report back to the case manager in the system which was the original case manager at 633. Defendant will indicate that person just sent them over. they will be sent up to the 7th floor and wait for 20min for PSO case manager duty officer to finish with another client.
  3. Agency started here. This was the only time PSA operated from one location in addition to the court houses.
  4. Court services (DTCU (C)/ DIAGNOSTIC/ RELEASE SERVICES), Forensic Toxicology Services (drug lab), court rep teams satellite office 4th floor
  5. Treatment (9,10) , HISP (10), office of Human capital management (11), office of the director (11), office of finance and administration (11) (facilities 10)
  6. GSU (2,3,10) SSAC (7), IT/Union office/training room (8) SSU (9), Court Rep Teams (10)
  7. MDP: The Drug lab was housed in MPD up until its relocation to 90K early last year.
  8. District Court, located at 333 constitution Ave is where our District Court teams is located. This office handles our federal cases.
  9. Current location of out Forensic Toxicology Services (Drug Lab) as of early 2015.
  10. Training and Career Development (Most training take place here) and Office Strategic Development. 7th floor Close with the number of locations and express how it can become confusing for defendants and cumbersome for employees. Explain scenarios for traveling to locations from employee perspective.

  14. Memorandum issues by the President that directed agencies to eliminate excess real estate. Office of Management and Budget (OMB) was trying to meet a goal of $3 billion of cost-savings by the end of fiscal year 2012. Informs agencies of the establishment of a new committee that will identify opportunities for improving the Federal government’s management of real estate properties. -Spending on inefficient real property is no longer an option. - New technologies have changed the way we do our work. (I.e. telework, flexible work schedules) - Better management of real estate property helps achieve sustainability goals
