While I am still in search of my definite purpose, I believe my purpose for this season is to assist others recognize their potential and maximize it to reach their promise. Each day that we rise, we go into the world, and execute our own agendas. Each day we allow our environment to influence our attitude which ultimately impacts our relationships. These relationships have the ability to build bridges that can connect what is to what can be, or build barriers that will prevent us from getting closer to our dreams. In order to create an inspiration, I seek to activate God-given abilities in others, maximize on the opportunities and moments to achieve, capitalize on the circumstances to succeed, and initiate our intellectual instruments to serve.

“Yesterday...you were called to serve. Now is the time to answer the call…”
rLj @ Harpers Ferry Job Corps September 11, 2014
“He taught us so much and made learning the material fun at the same time. He would make us figure out the point and meaning of the activities, but would help us if we needed it, which really helped everything hit home for me. Not only did he make them fun, everything we did was beneficial and all tied together in the end. He knew how to keep everyone focused; I grew so much over the week and it was because we had such an amazing leader. He was the reason we all became like a family for that week. He was an amazing facilitator, and I am so glad I had the privilege to get to know him. I hope that someday I will be at least half the leader he is. In his closing speech, you could see how hard the words hit us; It pulled our whole week together and showed each and every one of us how much we had grown and how upsetting it was that it was our last day. His words were very inspiring. On my several flights home it was all that I could think about. How much emotion he brought out in all of us that last day, how much we grew and learned, the great times we had, and how close we all became throughout that week. I made lifelong friends and still miss each and every person there because he brought us so close together. This was truly a life changing experience but it wouldn't have happened without him. I appreciate everything he did for us. I use the things he taught us every day to try to better myself. He was the reason we had such great experiences. He brought me out of my shell and I am grateful for that. He is the definition of a great leader.”

“Having worked with Ronald on numerous projects, I can state that he is a valued business partner. Ronald possesses excellent facilitation skills. He consistently delivers exciting presentations that engage audiences and achieve learning objectives. Ronald has strong communication skills and is confident and comfortable working with audiences across all levels of an organization. Ronald also possesses the time management, organizational and multi-tasking skills needed to successfully manage participation from an end to end perspective.”
MELVEY BROWN
(PROJECT MANAGEMENT CONSULTANT; OFFICE OF THE STATE SUPERINTENDENT, WASHINGTON, DC)
Ronald is an idea generator. He possesses a knack for inspiring individuals to strive beyond their initial intentions. Realizing that change starts with one person but is sustained through the works of a community, Ronald connects aspirations with actions. Just place him in front of a crowd and watch presumptions begin to shift!
S'NETA BENEFIELD (PROGRAM MANAGER, ENVISION EMI)
“Ronald is an exceptional teacher who inspired me and the rest of our group to become more. I would recommend him to anyone looking to enrich their own lives with knowledge and inspiration. Not only is Ronald a great leader and teacher, but an exceptional person in character with an exceptional sense of humor and a demeanor of trust that one can not duplicate. “
JAMES SPALDING
(STUDENT, UNIVERSITY OF MAINE)
“Ronald L. Jones is an exceptional speaker who is not only engaging but motivational. He has the ability to challenge his audience but also provide them with the support and tools they need to be successful. Ronald has an extraordinary ability to connect with leaders of any age. His energetic delivery of material is unmatched and bringing him in to speak to your group is an investment unlike any other.”
MARY CLARK
(BRIDGES TO BELMONT, DIRECTOR
BELMONT UNIVERSITY)
“Mr. Ronald Jones is a vivacious and dynamic leader who exemplifies tenacity of spirit with a positive, can accomplish attitude. His contributions to Marshall University Division of Multicultural Affairs are numerous. The programs he developed continue to thrive and to benefit students and the Marshall community. Ronald is an extraordinary multi-talent. He possesses energy, innovation, competence and a thirst for learning. Ronald is dedicated to successful task completion and works diligently to produce a superb outcome in all endeavors. I endorse him with complete confidence in his ability to succeed.”
SHARI CLARKE, PH.D.
(VICE PROVOST FOR DIVERSITY AND INCLUSION, OHIO UNIVERSITY)
“Ronald had a yellow rope, now this rope represented the goal, and he had each of us hold the rope and this showed that when all of us worked together we could do whatever we wanted. We could make the rope into every shape imaginable because we all worked together but when 1 of us let go, we had slack in the rope and someone would have to make up for it, and when another let go there was more. We did this until we could not do what ever we wanted and it showed how we all must do our part. I never felt as proud as I did there and Ronald helped me see that I play a bigger part than I thought. I honestly have never felt so inspired by one man who absolutely loves what he does, anything he puts his mind to he will finish 100%.”
WYATT SCHEU
(STUDENT, IOWA STATE UNIVERSITY)
“Ronald is an inspiring leader whom I have observed professionally. Always prepared, Ronald is an expert at engaging his audience while skillfully educating them about various topics. Working with him compelled me to become a better leader.”

“The clarity of his vision transferred to the precision of his planning, and I felt honored to be selected to facilitate part of his vision. I was impressed with the professionalism and clear direction of the facilitator materials provided, as well as the time allotted to review the materials, and availability made for Q&A. I was inspired by the passion in his eyes, determination in his heart, and execution of his mission. As unforeseen occurrences took place, I was able to witness Mr. Jones' faith in God foster and cancel the assignment of the enemy. He was able to think on his feet and revise plans on impulse. It was truly an honor to witness him be in 100 places at one time to execute his plan, all the while reaching hearts and impacting lives of over 200 women in attendance. The support given by Mr. Jones' leadership and direction gave me the courage to step outside of my comfort zone to use my voice to facilitate a positive message, and my life was forever changed.”
ALICIA GLENN (SENIOR FINANCIAL ANALYST, THE COLLEGE BOARD)
“Working with Ronald was an amazing experience. It wasn’t until I volunteered under his direction that I would believe more in myself than ever before. Ronald challenged me to let go of my fears and make my dreams a reality. Ronald has inspired me to pursue my goals with strenuous exertion and dedication. I can say thanks to his leadership that I am able to work on making my dreams a reality. I genuinely appreciate and value everything I have learned. His leadership will perpetually remain a major contributor to the goals I plan to accomplish.”
ALISHA BERRY (MEDICAL SUPPORT ASSISTANT; VETERANS HEALTH ADMINISTRATION)
“I ran across the evaluations from one of the many trainings you have facilitated for Jefferson County Schools. As I took a moment to read over the 50 plus comments it reminds me of how fortunate we are to have you present to our staff. Your high energy quickly centers our group. Many of the comments speak to your effectiveness to manage our vastly different personalities and bring us into focus on the task at hand. Ronald you are truly a gifted presenter and facilitator. Thank you for sharing your talents with Jefferson County, WV.”
ARTHENA S. ROPER
(CULTURAL DIVERSITY FACILITATOR & STAFF DEVELOPMENT COORDINATOR, JEFFERSON COUNTY
“Ronald was very good at keeping the group relaxed but focused. He would allow us to explore options and answers as a group when he gave us a question. He helped us understand our roles and duties in a simulation which was of great help. But when we got a little crazy, he'd simply call us back to attention and we would move on--he was very good at that. He was also very skilled in just commanding the room with his presence and with his gaze. The closing ceremony he gave us was very moving, emotional, and very memorable.”
ALEX RAND (STUDENT, OHIO STATE UNIVERSITY)
“I have had the privilege of attending two events planned by Ronald. Each event was a very different experience and each experience was rewarding. You can tell from the moment you walked into the building that there was a lot of thought and preparation put into each event. One event was a diversity training where his leadership skills were incredible. The way he led the group through the different scenarios, with patience and understanding, provided a different prospective for each topic which really caused you to rethink how you felt. The 2nd event was an event planned for women only; one word to describe the event was AMAZING. I felt special the moment I walked in the door, the decorations, the warm welcome every woman received, the meal that was served, the music played, and the break-out sessions we attended were wonderful. I left the event feeling special and beautiful. I just want to say thank you for everything you did to make that event so memorable.”
ROBIN HOSBY
(HOUSING ASSIGNMENT COORDINATOR; SHEPHERD UNIVERSITY)
“Our facilitator was always enthusiastic and energetic about every activity that we did. He supported us in our journey but at the same time allowed us to think for ourselves and forced our independence. In addition to these important skills, he was extremely amusing and enjoyable. It was an amazing experience that my facilitator played the major role in. I couldn't wait to go to our group meeting everyday to further my education and be enthralled in his positive attitude.”
BRANDYN CESAN
(STUDENT, UNIVERSITY OF NEW HAVEN)
“When I met Ronald, I was a sixteen-year-old girl from Barbados, traveling alone for the first time. My sessions with him at Global Young Leaders Conference in Washington, DC, were life changing to say the least. As my group leader, Ronald taught me not only how to have fun but the power of consequence. I remember my group members and I were preparing for a competition against the other groups present at the conference, when we engaged in some inconsiderate action. Ronald spoke to us about this in no uncertain terms and then refused to take part with us. As a teenager accustomed to being taught I would never suffer the consequence of my inconsiderate actions, that was one of the marked experiences of my life where I was directly faced with the repercussions of my thoughtlessness. These lessons continued over the eleven days in a way that I have not experienced prior or since. Not only was he able to introduce the notion of dealing with consequences, but he also taught me the art of goodbye. When it came time to part ways with these people from all over the world, that I had bonded with so quickly, and would probably never see again, Ronald hosted a circle of tears to allow us the space to come to terms with the fact that though we may never meet again, but that does not diminish the experience we have shared and the part we played in each other's lives. These are lessons that have benefited me to this day...four years later.”

(VICE PROVOST FOR DIVERSITY AND INCLUSION, OHIO UNIVERSITY) “Ronald had a yellow rope, now this rope represented the goal, and he had each of us hold the rope and this showed that when all of us worked together we could do whatever we wanted. I honestly have never felt so inspired by one man who absolutely loves what he does, anything he puts his mind to he will finish 100%.” WYATT SCHEU (STUDENT, IOWA STATE UNIVERSITY) “Ronald is an inspiring leader whom I have observed professionally. Always prepared, Ronald is an expert at engaging his audience while skillfully educating them about various topics. Working with him compelled me to become a better leader.” MARKEYTA BOONE (HUMAN SERVICES CASEWORKER, ILLINOIS DEPARTMENT OF HUMAN SERVICES)

Jones' leadership and direction gave me the courage to step outside of my comfort zone to use my voice to facilitate a positive message, and my life was forever changed.” ALICIA GLENN (SENIOR FINANCIAL ANALYST, THE COLLEGE BOARD) “Working with Ronald was an amazing experience. His leadership will perpetually remain a major contributor to the goals I plan to accomplish.” ALISHA BERRY (MEDICAL SUPPORT ASSISTANT; VETERANS HEALTH ADMINISTRATION) “I ran across the evaluations from one of the many trainings you have facilitated for Jefferson County Schools. Thank you for sharing your talents with Jefferson County, WV.” ARTHENA S. ROPER (CULTURAL DIVERSITY FACILITATOR & STAFF DEVELOPMENT COORDINATOR, JEFFERSON COUNTY “Ronald was very good at keeping the group relaxed but focused. The closing ceremony he gave us was very moving, emotional, and very memorable.” ALEX RAND (STUDENT, OHIO STATE UNIVERSITY) “I have had the privilege of attending two events planned by Ronald. I just want to say thank you for everything you did to make that event so memorable.” ROBIN HOSBY (HOUSING ASSIGNMENT COORDINATOR; SHEPHERD UNIVERSITY) “Our facilitator was always enthusiastic and energetic about every activity that we did. He supported us in our journey but at the same time allowed us to think for ourselves and forced our independence. In addition to these important skills, he was extremely amusing and enjoyable. It was an amazing experience that my facilitator played the major role in. I couldn't wait to go to our group meeting everyday to further my education and be enthralled in his positive attitude.” BRANDYN CESAN (STUDENT, UNIVERSITY OF NEW HAVEN)
  • 10. These are lessons that have benefited me to this day...four years later.” Delisha Smith Student, Carleton University rLj | NINE
