Choose by Area Code

Enter PIN & Confirm (make sure to write it down!)
Enter Temporary Number to Forward to
Google Voice will call that Phone: Enter the Verification Code provided
on the Screen on your Phone’s Dial pad

3. Install Google Voice & Video Plug-in
Visit http://voice.google.com
Placing a Phone Call:
1. Visit http://voice.google.com
2. Log in to your Google Account
3. Press Call on the top right of the screen
4. Enter Destination Phone Number
a. Computer will dial for you – communicate through the computer using
a headset, microphone & speakers, or web camera with speakers
5. Long distance calls to the 50 United States are FREE (carrier charges apply)
6. Google Voice can record phone calls when placed from the computer
2. Receiving Phone Calls:
1. Visit http://voice.google.com
a. Click on the Gear Icon on the Top Right for Settings
b. Check the Box: Forward Calls to Google Chat
2. Your computer must be on to receive calls
3. You must be logged into your G-mail Account
4. Calls will ring in your Gmail Inbox
Checking Voicemail:
1. Visit http://voice.google.com
2. Log in to your Google Account
3. Click on Inbox
4. Press Play Button to Listen or read Transcript
5. Manage Voice Mails with Google Voice for FREE
Sending Text Messages:
1. Visit http://voice.google.com
2. Log in to your Google Account
3. Press Text on the top right of the screen
4. Enter Destination Phone Number
5. Enter Text Message Body
6. Send up to 5 FREE text messages a day
