 Python is general purpose, Object Oriented and High level programming
language that is often applied in scripting roles.
 So, Python is programming language as well as scripting language.
 It is also Interpreted programming language.
 Python is a programming language that lets you work quickly and
integrate systems more efficiently.

4. Difference between program and scripting language.
 A program is a general sequence of
instructions written so that a
computer can perform certain task.
 In program (i.e. the source is first
compiled , and the result of the
compilation is expected).

examples of programming languages.
 A script is interpreted.
 A script is a code written in a scripting
language.
 A scripting language is nothing but a

which we can write code to control

Python was created by Guido Van Rossum who is a Dutch programmer. This
language was conceived in the late 1980s and its implementation was stared
in December 1989. It is open source language from the beginning. Different
versions have been developed like python v2 , python v3. Also python 3 is
more suited for modern needs like artificial intelligence and Machine
learning.
