Djarum ASRS Warehouse Management System (WMS) is an integration of
Swisslog AM / SPOC software application with conveyor subsystem to allow the
operation of the Automated Pallet Warehouse system.
Implementation of Djarum ASRS Warehouse Management System require
knowledge of factory automation system, engineering in automation system,
experience in Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition (SCADA) and also
excellent project management.

SOLUTIONS
Integration of Swisslog Warehouse Management Software (WMS) with Siemens
PLC using Swisslog Interface Standard allow user to have complete control of the
operation of the conveyor. Once the conveyor system received an order from
WMS, it will execute the task and report the task status to WMS according to the
project design.
In addition, iFix SCADA is implemented on the conveyor system allow field engi-
neers, technicians or operators to directly monitor and control the conveyor
status.
With our experienced engineering team, all program development and commis-
sioning done, are according to project schedule. Djarum WMS is completed on
November 2015.
EXECUTIVE SUMMARY
3. The solution provided by ASPL is to integrate Siemens PLC with WMS using
Swisslog Interface Standard. Both systems communicate through Ethernet TCP/IP
by exchanging data or known as Telegram to allow the software to have a
complete control of the conveyor system.
With the implementation of Actuator Sensor-Interface or more known as ASi,
power and signals can be transferred to hundreds of IOs by using only one single
cable, reducing space usage, commissioning time and applying simple
architectural system.
