Major Responsibilities
To Support the Health and Safety Manager in managing the day to day
running of HSE Management System
Identify H&S training needs across the Project and deliver appropriate
technical H&S training.

2. Advise on the introduction of safe operational procedures across the Project
which identify and take account of all relevant hazards
Periodically verify/audit the accuracy of the information and prepare reports
of significant trends within the data.
Knowledge about the Substation and Feeder Station/substation Safety
Carry out and record regular audit inspections to check compliance with
policies and procedures, proposing necessary changes to working practices
Plan practical and effective methods, both preventative and remedial, of
promoting health and safety and safe working practices.
Support line managers in the carrying out of risk assessments, identifying
strategies on how risks may be reduced.
Liaise with the Head of Safety Department over the production of a Health &
Safety Plan for the project
Keep records of all inspections, test examinations, accidents etc
Audit and advise the Head of Health and Safety Department on all Health &
Safety aspects of the project on site
Organize, attend and record all Health & Safety meetings
Ensure all necessary Health & Safety precautions are being strictly adhered
to and that all information and/or instructions on health & safety matters
issued to staff and subcontractors is properly followed by all concerned
Undertake daily inspections of the work to ensure compliance with all
Method Statements, Risk Assessments and the Health & Safety Plan
Undertake Tool Box Talks in conjunction with the site management on all
aspects of site safety
Provide the leadership necessary to contribute towards an effective Health &
Safety Department

Identify walkway hazards that were causing worker injuries, suggested and
implemented improvements.
Conducting full risk assessments and implementing any corrective actions
Coordinate and monitor sub contractor HSE performance.
Help review risk assessments on a regular basis and make the necessary
changes to working practices
To support the HR and Health and Safety Manager in developing and
maintaining all elements of the company's Health, Safety and Welfare
Management Systems
Develop short term action plans and long range planning for new programs
and strategies that impact the Project based on the existing corporate
directed goals and any new goals that are created.
Effectively manage the people resources of the company to meet the needs
of the Company including career development.
Ensure that the HSE policy and its interpretation are understood by all the
employees

SWWS is a non-profit organization working for the betterment of society. It has
the specialty in WASH (Water and Sanitation and Hygiene). It has dedicated it
services (with the financial aid of Unicef) to the most vulnerable community
(IDPs) in the area of water and sanitation to prevent the precious lives from
different type of hazards and diseases which was expected in the camp, and off
