with about 226 million youth ( UN, 2015)
Youth unemployment rate in sub-Saharan Africa is
about 14%

• To promote and stimulate graduate driven entrepreneurship in
agriculture and agribusiness in Africa

• To support young adults to become the farmers of tomorrow
through choice, rather than necessity
• To inspire young agripreneurs to establish food-based businesses

• To stimulate innovative approaches in locally based food systems
• To contribute to local and global food security

Course follows a ‘Flipped
Classroom’ paradigm that
enables participants to study
course theory in own learning

of 3 hours which is spread over a
period of 10 – 14 weeks
